Acupuncture
Acupuncture offers a whole-person approach to symptoms, health, and well-being rooted in the traditions of Chinese medicine.
People seek acupuncture for many reasons, including pain, headaches and migraines, fertility, sexual health, musculoskeletal concerns, stress, sleep difficulties, digestive symptoms, and support while navigating chronic illness or intensive medical treatment. Acupuncture can also be incorporated into a broader wellness plan for people who simply want to feel and function better. Treatment plans are individualized rather than based solely on a cookie-cutter diagnosis, allowing me to consider your symptoms within the broader context of sleep, digestion, energy, stress, lifestyle, and overall health.
My approach is particularly informed by experience caring for people with complex medical conditions and cancer. For patients receiving conventional medical treatment, acupuncture is used as complementary care rather than as a replacement for appropriate medical evaluation or treatment. When indicated, we encourage communication and coordination with your physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Treatment involves the placement of very thin, sterile, single-use needles at carefully selected points on the body. For younger children, I provide needle-free acupressure and shoni-shin.
Children and teenagers are welcome. Pediatric acupuncture is adapted to a child's age, developmental stage, comfort, and preferences. Treatment does not need to look the same for a six-year-old as it does for a 36-year-old or an 86-year-old.
Who: Children, adolescents, and adults of all ages

Insurance & Reimbursement
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. After your visit, I can provide a superbill containing the information needed to submit a claim for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurance plan, so I encourage patients and caregivers to contact their insurance company before beginning care to understand their out-of-network benefits, deductible, reimbursement rates, and any requirements for submitting claims.
Payment is due at the time of service, regardless of whether your insurance plan ultimately reimburses you for any portion of the cost.
